Position Overview
We're seeking a motivated Client Relations Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients who reach out to us and are considering our assessment services. This role combines sales expertise with genuine empathy and understanding of the challenges our clients face.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to initial in-bound inquiries from potential clients via phone and email; there will be no out-bound, cold calling
- Clearly explain our assessment services, how they can benefit our clients, and how they are different from other providers
- Listen attentively to client concerns and tailor communications to address their specific needs and questions
- Verbally guide potential clients through the evaluation process, serving as the first point of contact to address questions and provide clarity and compassion
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain organized records of all communications
- Work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure a smooth transition from initial contact to assessment
- Maintain detailed and organized records in our electronic health system
- Track sales metrics and client data using spreadsheets and other tools
- Ensure our potential clients know they will be heard, understood, validated, and empowered if they choose to work with us
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Genuine empathy when working with individuals with a range of neurodiversities
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible terms
- Excellent written communication skills with knowledge of proper grammar and email etiquette
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt conversations based on client needs and questions
- Self-motivated with a drive to provide outstanding customer experiences
- Comfort with technology including electronic health records, Google Workspace spreadsheets and document management
- Ability to prioritize multiple client inquires, coming through a variety of places including live phone calls, website contact page, and voicemails
- Previous experience in healthcare, education, or psychology settings preferred but not required
- Previous experience in marketing, communications or sales is preferred but not required
