AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTOR
Temporary Full-Time
Start date : March 24, 2025
Minnesota North College-Hibbing Campus is seeking a temporary, part-time automotive
technician instructor who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning; using active and
experiential learning strategies; creating a student-centered environment; commitment to
teaching students with a wide variety of backgrounds and working collaboratively with
colleagues to create a successful student-learning environment.
Position duties include but are not limited to :
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Instruct courses including Customer Automotive Repair, Shop Management
and Supervision, and Transmission and Transfer Case Controls.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education Requiremen t
services technology.
Occupational Experience Requirement
experience in automotive services technology.
Recency Requirement
immediately preceding the date of application for the credential
field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual
has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent)
postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within
the last five years.
Professional Requirement
Current ASE certification in the areas in which the faculty member
is teaching.
