Responsibilities
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee the clinical support operations for all nursing clinical support activities. This includes maintaining effective nursing staff coverage, reviewing and revising clinical policies and procedures, and assisting with annual performance evaluations for clinical staff. You will also demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules, and coordinate employee staffing including vacations, sick leave, and overtime. Additionally, you will assist with staff training and in-services as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, preferably a BSN. You should also possess current MN licensure and registration, and current or pending OCN certification. A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience, is preferred. You should also be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and basic math skills. We value dependability, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
