We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team in office. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our properties from the comfort of their home, ensuring efficient processes, and providing excellent service to our residents and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of properties, addressing inquiries and ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce property rules and procedures to maintain a safe and desirable living environment.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from owners and residents.
- Facilitate accounting such as rent collection, financial reporting, and check processing.
- Process rental assistance applications and payments, and manage security deposits in accordance with guidelines.
- Document property conditions during move-ins and move-outs, and provide final dispositions to owners and tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including vendor communication, work order processing, and tracking completion.
- Foster positive relationships with owners, residents, vendors, and community organizations.
- Be available for on-call duties to address urgent matters or emergencies.
- Guide and support leasing professionals, assisting with marketing, applicant screening, lease negotiations, and move-ins/move-outs.
- Manage lease renewals and ensure compliance with leasing policies and fair housing regulations.
- Prepare leasing reports and provide updates to management and owners.
- Facilitate tenant applications from initial screening to final approval, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to criteria.
- Collaborate with marketing resources to promote available units and conduct market research to adjust pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a full service property manager required.
- 5 years of experience with Property Management software (Yardi, Appfolio, etc) required.
- Strong background in property management accounting, including financial reporting and reconciliation.
- In-depth understanding of property management rules, procedures, and fair housing regulations.
- Experience with local and national regulations on property managemen.
- Ability to quickly learn and manage new technologies and software is required.
- Proven ability to train and teach others on these systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with a high level of self-motivation and self-discipline, requiring limited training.
- Ability to work in Central Time Zone during business hours, 8am - 4pm.
- Availability for on-call duties to address urgent matters as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
