What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Coordinator, Class Notes position at Minnesota Public Radio?
Your Role:
This position publishes digital lessons, maintains systems for data organization, and provides on-site support for the Class Notes Education initiative. This position collaborates with both the Program Coordinator and the Digital Team to support the Class Notes portfolio.
Location: Hybrid, St. Paul, MN.
Expected Compensation Range: $24.00 - $27.00 / hourly The exact rate is determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure, and internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with others, publish digital lessons and content on classnotes.org
- Maintain organizational systems to organize and archive all department data on Sharepoint and other sites as needed
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting; Use data to advise on department strategy and policies
- Assist in Artist application process and selection, artist orientation
- Provide support for audio and digital production projects
- Set up annual booking process, track and process artist invoices
- Maintain Lesson Library project tracker
- Attend a selection of Class Notes Concerts and write neutral observer reports
- Provide on-site support for Class Notes Concerts as needed
- Collaborate to execute events and serve as an ambassador in the community for the Class Notes Program
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience organizing large amounts of detailed data
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent language skills including writing, proofreading; fluent computer skills.
- Understanding of policies and procedures in K-12 schools.
- Aware of web and social media best practices.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Management of large amounts of detailed information, including spreadsheets
- Ability to work efficiently with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in multiple departments/divisions.
- Ability to work with changing deadlines and in fast paced environment.
- Ability to provide on-site support in large, public settings
- Energetic and motivated to serve school audiences.
- Demonstrated research skills in a professional capacity.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong interest in classical music.
- Understanding of semantic markup and accessibility standards.
- Digital publishing experience
