Senior LinkAge Line Resource Specialist Tier 1 (Region 6 area)

Location : Must live within one of the following counties : Big Stone, Lac qui Parle, Yellow Medicine, Swift, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Mcleod or Renville
About Us : The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MNRAAA) provides advocacy, information, resources and assistance so that older adults can maintain the lifestyle of their choice. The Senior LinkAge Line is a free statewide service of the Minnesota Board on Aging, in partnership with Minnesota's Area Agencies on Aging. Senior LinkAge Line helps older Minnesotans and their families by connecting to local services, finding answers, and getting the help they need.
Job Summary : MNRAAA is seeking a full-time Senior LinkAge Line Resource Specialist. This role provides free, objective information and assistance to help older Minnesotans and their families to make informed decisions about their options, provide general resources and options counseling through taking inbound calls from the general and housing queues. This role also provides outreach by connecting with regional organizations, partners, and individuals to build relationships and educate them about the Senior LinkAge Line. Requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a reliable car .
Salary and Benefits :
- Salary range : $21.28-$25.29 per hour, depending on years or relevant experience.
- Opportunity for advancement to a Resource Specialist Tier 2, upon completion of required Medicare training.
