Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facility by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on facility equipment and systems. Working closely with production teams, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday 12pm-8:15pm.
  • Friday – 7am-3:15pm.
  • Mandatory Overtime as needed.
  • * Hours may change to a standard Monday-Friday 3:00-11:15pm shift in the future*.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment, identify issues or potential problems, and take corrective actions to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and perform repairs or adjustments as needed to restore functionality.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery to support production needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or property.
  • Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Participate in training programs to develop and enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in industrial maintenance or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions effectively.
  • Experience with a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance techniques.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with production teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to continuously stand, walk, or sit.
  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
