Perham Public Schools is seeking to hire a Full-Time Trade and Industry - Manufacturing Instructor at Perham High School. This position includes both required and elective courses within CTE Pathway Programs at Perham High School.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Manufacturing Careers or the ability to obtain a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Out of Field Permission.
2. Knowledge of Classroom Management best practice to help foster support of academic success.
3. Technology Skills that support the demands of 21st Century Learners.
DESIRED LICENSING / ENDORSEMENTS : Perham Public Schools will accept all candidates that have any of the following licenses, certifications, or endorsements to teacher CTE Career Pathway courses in Manufacturing training.
MANUFACTURING & FABRICATION : Perham Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Trade and Industry (T&I) instructor for the upcoming school year. Courses taught may include welding, machining, fabrication, engineering, and others. The instructor will also advise the school's Jacket Manufacturing student run business program. Candidates must have a manufacturing careers (300200) teaching license or a relevant industry certification / license, degree, or five years of industry experience related to manufacturing, welding, or fabrication. Additionally, the work-based learning (WBL) endorsement (160000) is preferred, but not required.
AGRICULTURE, FOOD, NATURAL RESOURCES (AFNR) : Perham Public Schools would also accept applications from candidates that have attained the AFNR licensure.
