Junior Olympic Volleyball Coaches
Job Summary
- Provide coaching and instruction to youth volleyball players (openings to coach Grades 4 - 8) in a competitive athletic program.
- Season starts late November and runs through March 17. The season includes skill development and competition.
- Practices are held 2 / week on Mondays / Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings.. Schedules and times are based on gym and coach availability.
- 5-6 one day tournaments are scheduled per team on Saturdays or Sundays, January - mid-March. Coaches are required to attend.
- Work collaboratively with the Youth Sports Coordinator to implement a coaching philosophy that is supportive of student / athletes' development.
- Communicate effectively with student / athletes, coaching staff, parents, and building administrators, regarding program needs and developments.
