What are the responsibilities and job description for the Iowa Wild Summer Promotions Crew (Part-Time) position at Minnesota Sports and Entertainment?
The Summer Promo Crew member will serve as a brand ambassador for the Iowa Wild, representing the team at various community events. Responsibilities include setting up and managing promotional booths, engaging with fans, distributing materials, and promoting ticket sales and events.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the Iowa Wild at various events throughout the community.
- Set up, manage, and tear down promotional booths, games, and activities at events.
- Interact with fans, distribute promotional materials, and promote ticket sales and special events.
- Assist with mascot appearances and engage with attendees to create a memorable experience.
- Capture photos and videos for social media and marketing purposes.
- Represent the Iowa Wild with a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Provide feedback and event recaps to the marketing team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Some post-secondary education is preferred, not required.
- Some experience working with college, minor league or professional sports promotions or marketing is preferred, not required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Customer service experience preferred.
Personal Attributes:
- Customer service oriented.
- Fan-friendly attitude and willing to initiate conversation with fans.
- Able to work within a team and a service-oriented environment.
Work Conditions:
- Available to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games or events.
- Able to attend pre-shift meeting for each event as scheduled.
- Reliable transportation to and from events in the Des Moines area.
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc. and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
