Job Description
This position is critical to the successful implementation of undergraduate degree conferment. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the undergraduate degree conferment process including degree audit evaluations, degree conferral, and ordering diplomas. This position will develop and refine ongoing training. This position will leadwork in degree audit report evaluations to ensure consistent practice is followed throughout all university departments. This position will manage the degree conferral process including the collection, evaluation, and organization of data; facilitation of data importing into the system and workflow; monitor progress within the workflow while serving as a resource for a wide variety of questions and issues to support staff and provides recommendations to the Associate Director. This position will regularly communicate and educate students, faculty, and staff about the undergraduate degree conferment processes. It will also serve as the liaison to the university's diploma vendor.
Minimum Qualifications

Five years of experience managing user end implementation of complex technology systems.

Customer Service experience: Excellent customer service and communication skills including the ability to establish effective and productive working relationships among a diverse constituent population in a professional, tactful manner at all times.

Information Technology experience: Ability to work with information technology (IT) staff to implement or make changes to systems, demonstrate ability to understand the interrelationships between multiple, complex information technology systems.

Problem Solving: Ability to interpret user explanation of problems, apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to come to a resolution/solution. Ability to convey complicated problems to others and proactively assist in developing solutions.

Training: Ability to effectively communicate complicated information and provide training to multiple constituent groups.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualification
- Associates degree or higher.

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

Experience working in a higher education setting such as advising, registration and academic records, or admissions.

Previous experience working with Integrated Student Records System (ISRS), Degree Audits (DARS), Document Imaging Systems and/or workflows.
- Ability to fully utilize multiple complex and varied technology systems with little or no supervision.
