Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate with potential student-athletes.
- Manage budgets and fundraising activities to support the program.
- Mentor student-athletes in individual and team dynamics, team rules, leadership development, and commitment to safety and well-being.
- Monitor satisfactory academic progress of student-athletes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in physical education, exercise science, or kinesiology, or a Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate semester credits in physical education, exercise science, or kinesiology.
- Two or more years of coaching experience.
- Knowledge of eSports and experience in the field.
- Understanding of MCAC and NJCCA rules and regulations.
- Prior experience with recruiting student-athletes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both orally and in writing.
- Organizational skills, including basic accounting practices.
Work Schedule: Varies, flexible to fit the schedule of the coach and students.
