Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled ECFE Coordinator/Teacher to join our early childhood team. This role involves leading high-quality Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) programs that support both young children and their families. The Coordinator/Teacher will work closely with families, staff, and community members to ensure the program meets the needs of the community and complies with state requirements.

License Requirement:
Must have a valid Early Childhood Education license from the Minnesota Department of Education.

Compensation: Hourly, depending on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instruction:

• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities for parents and children.
   

• Develop play-based learning for children on non-parent days.
   

• Create and use curriculum suitable for different age groups.
   

• Observe and assess children’s growth; hold conferences with parents.
   

• Support families with child development strategies and positive interactions.
   

Classroom & Program Management:

• Create a safe and engaging classroom environment.
   

• Guide teaching assistants and support staff.
   

• Work closely with the Parent Educator and other team members.
   

• Help plan and evaluate the overall ECFE program.
   

Child Screening & Support:

• Conduct early childhood screenings.
   

• Share screening results with parents and offer next steps when needed.
   

Professional Responsibilities:

• Attend training, meetings, and stay up-to-date on best practices.
   

• Be reliable and maintain consistent attendance.
   

• Perform other related duties as needed.
