There are positions available for Youth Recreation Coaches with Community Education beginning October 2024.
Summary of Duties :
- Under the general supervision of the Recreation Specialist, provide a physically and emotionally healthy recreation program for boys and girls that involves team sports skills.
- Act as a co-worker with other youth sports coaches.
- Work with boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th Grade or 4 and 5 year olds who have not entered Kindergarten.
- Ensure that optimum safety precautions are taken when operating all activities, and administer first aid to minor injuries.
- An enthusiastic supporter of the Community Education Department and its programs and philosophies.
- Encourage patrons' good personal habits by setting a good example yourself.
