- May 5th to June 8th from 7:30 am to 8:20 am
- Lead instruction in school run programs; provide guidance and supervision of participants.
- Develop and implement fun and appropriate practice drills and games to accommodate a variety of skill levels.
- Help each participant develop skills to be successful.
- Provide a safe, caring and fun environment for participants.
- Establish a positive and friendly relationship with parents.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must be a high school graduate, at least 18 years of age.
- Evidence of successful experience in working with youth.
- Evidence of successful teaching and/or program leadership.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic running skills and mechanics; coaching/instruction experience preferred.
- Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.

Primary Objective of Position:
To develop and implement a hands-on coaching curriculum for youth runners Grades 2 - 5. Based on the age of the students, instruction should include proper form and efficiency, distance training, speed training, proper warm-up, cool-down and stretching, proper training gear, nutrition and safety.
