TITLE: Medical Record Assistant

Job Summary: The Medical Record Assistant will work with the Health Information Manager in maintaining all information on the resident’s medical record. Will do purchasing for all of Minnewaska Community Health Services (MCHS). This position will be responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and transferring them appropriately. Be responsible for welcoming and greeting all guests or visitors and assisting them in a professional manner with excellent customer service.
Qualifications: Must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Coding experience preferred but not required. Must be able to multitask and work autonomously. Must have strong computer skills. Required to read, write and speak English, and complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious/recurring maltreatment.
