Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and warmhearted Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in funeral service, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate compassion and empathy when assisting grieving families.
Responsibilities :
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral arrangements, including meeting with families to discuss options and preferences.
Arrange and prepare the deceased for funeral services or identifications.
Provide guidance and support to families throughout the funeral process, offering comfort and assistance during their time of loss.
Coordinate with clergy, florists, cemeteries, and other service providers to ensure seamless execution of funeral services.
On call responsibilities and weekend availability with a degree of flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications :
Valid Funeral Director's License in Maryland, or ability to obtain licensure.
Experience in funeral services, including direct interaction with families.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to support families in their time of need.
