What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse - RN position at Minnie Cline Elementary School?
Duties include but are not limited to tracking illness and making weekly reports to the Director of Nurses for DHSS reporting, Hearing/vision screening, head checks, distributing meds., keeping accurate care records, and clinic logs, other screenings, classroom presentations, and communicating well with administration. Strong relationship building skills are a must. Aware of health and medical resources in the community and region for the purpose of educating and assisting in connecting students and families to services.
