**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic Position to join our team at Minnkota Power Cooperative. The successful candidate will have an associate's degree in Mechanical Maintenance, machinist, welding, auto or diesel mechanic, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities include performing skilled activities in maintenance, overhaul, installation, and repairs of power plant machinery and related equipment. Typical equipment maintenance responsibilities include Westinghouse steam turbine frame 425 repairs, GE steam turbine frame D5 repairs, pumps, valves, piping, gear reducers, conveyors, fans, turbines, boilers, compressors, motors, and soot blowers.
You will work under the immediate supervision of the maintenance supervisor and as part of a composite crew with other maintenance classifications. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships are essential for success in this role.
