Job Description
The Plant Engineer - Reliability or Plant Specialist Reliability position is a key role within our operations team, responsible for providing root cause analysis, overseeing change management initiatives, and optimizing work practices in areas of expertise. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and reducing risks to the station, conducting reliability analyses, and designing new and replacement equipment. Previous experience in an industrial setting with emphasis on reliability and rotating equipment is preferred but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
* Oversee change management program and initiatives to ensure seamless implementation
* Optimize work practices in areas of expertise to improve efficiency and reliability
* Manage and reduce risks to the station through proactive measures
* Conduct reliability analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for projects
* Evaluate design alternatives and provide expert input on equipment installation
* Work collaboratively with consultants and contractors to achieve engineering objectives
* Troubleshoot systems with Operations and Maintenance to resolve problems efficiently
* Ensure safety of work practices and maintain a safe working environment
* Monitor and recommend new technology for improvements in efficiency, reliability, availability, and longevity of the plant and its equipment
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* 2 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in reliability and rotating equipment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
