About the Role :
We are looking for a Sr. UX / UI Designer who is ready for a new challenge and will enjoy the impact that comes with joining a fast-growing startup. This role will be responsible for thoughtfully designing, iterating, and improving the user experience across Minoan's entire product offering - from our B2B Procurement Platform to our internal Order Management System to our B2C Shoppable Showroom product. This role, reporting directly to the Director of User Experience & Design, will be the third full-time UX designer on the team and play a key role in shaping our future design direction and advancing the company toward its vision.
The role is based in NYC, where our company is headquartered and most of our employees reside. However, this position is remote, and working hours are expected to align with Eastern Time.
What you'll do :
- Partner closely with the Head of UX, the product team, and cross-functional business stakeholders to develop intuitive and functional design solutions and improve the overall user experience and engagement across Minoan's full suite of products.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer and internal stakeholder goals, use cases, and pain points and use that knowledge to effectively design innovative solutions that exceed the needs of all users.
- Drive the end-to-end product design process : conducting user research, creating user journey maps and wireframes, designing high-fidelity prototypes, and creating pixel-perfect design specs, ready for hand-off to engineering.
- Contribute to Minoan's design system, ensuring all user touchpoints are cohesive and uphold Minoan's brand standards.
- Help foster a culture of design and user-centricity within the company, staying up-to-date with the latest design and industry trends.
