Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing injections
- Perform medical documentation accurately and in a timely manner to ensure comprehensive patient records
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment.
- Support pediatric patients by providing age-appropriate care and comfort measures.
- Utilize electronic health record management and documentation.
- Supervise nursing staff
- Keep track of medical inventory and order as needed
- Performing X-Rays
- Phlebotomy
- EKG, Spirometry and other diagnostic testing
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in techniques and wound care management.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
- Experience in laboratory procedures and diagnostic evaluations.
- Familiarity with pediatric nursing practices is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sterile processing protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Supervisory experience needed
- NCT is a must
- Bilingual is a plus
