1. Pro Shop Attendant
Job Summary :
The Pro Shop Attendant is the first point of contact for golfers and plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. This position involves providing excellent customer service, managing tee times, handling transactions, and maintaining the pro shop's appearance.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers, providing information about the course, services, and merchandise.
- Book and manage tee times using the golf course's reservation system.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile daily sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized pro shop, including displaying merchandise and restocking inventory.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with other golf course staff, including rangers and maintenance personnel.
- Enforce golf course rules and regulations.
- Assist with tournaments and special events.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pro Shop Manager or Golf Professional.
Qualifications :
Excellent customer service and communication skills.Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.Knowledge of golf and golf equipment is preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.2. Golf Course Ranger
Job Summary :
The Golf Course Ranger is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience for all players. This involves monitoring pace of play, enforcing course rules, and providing assistance to golfers on the course.
Responsibilities :
Monitor pace of play and encourage golfers to maintain a reasonable pace.Enforce golf course rules and regulations, including dress code and etiquette.Provide assistance to golfers, such as directions, information about course conditions, and minor first aid.Resolve conflicts and address golfer complaints in a professional manner.Communicate effectively with other golf course staff, including the pro shop and maintenance personnel.Report any incidents or issues to the appropriate personnel.Maintain a visible presence on the course to deter slow play and other violations.Assist with course setup and maintenance as needed.Ensure the golf course is clean and free of debris.Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Course Superintendent.Qualifications :
