Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for carrying out the recruiting functions of Enrollment Services. The position recruits students by traveling primarily regionally promoting Minot State University. While representing the college at recruiting events, maintaining effective and frequent communication with students and families, and managing assigned projects, the Admission Counselor works with the Enrollment Services team to provide prospective students with the information needed to make an informed decision.
The responsibilities include developing, coordinating and implementing a recruitment plan for new students, assisting in planning on-campus recruiting activities and local area outreach, advising new students during the admissions process, assisting with new student transitions to Minot State and departmental/administrative activities
The position reports to the Director of Enrollment Services and serves on some university committees.
Required: Bachelor’s degree, required. One year of experience in recruitment, preferred.
Compensation: Salary based upon education and experience. The position will remain open until filled.
