Full Job Description
Mint Cannabis is seeking an experienced Distribution Team Member. As a Distribution Associate, you play a crucial role in the seamless operation of our logistics and supply chain. Your responsibilities encompass everything from receiving and storing products to ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely shipments. This introductory phase will acquaint you with essential tasks and procedures for our distribution processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Sort, label, and store merchandise in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces and work areas.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Distribution
- Skills:
- Lifting 25 pounds
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred but optional; training will be provided.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as picking and packing orders.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for entering data and navigating warehouse management systems (WMS).
