Full Job Description
Mint Cannabis is seeking an experienced HR Adminstrator.The HR Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department, ensuring the efficient handling of all HR-related activities, compliance with cannabis industry regulations, and promoting a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
- Assisting the upkeep of employee badges
- Maintain compliance with all cannabis industry-related labor laws, regulations, and policies at both the state and federal levels.
- Address employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Maintain and update employee files, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of all HR-related documents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the cannabis industry.
- Help coordinate employee training, including compliance training related to cannabis regulations.
- Monitor and manage leave of absence requests, including FMLA and other leave policies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with conflict resolution when necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and cannabis-related regulations that may impact HR operations.
- Other various HR tasks as needed.
Must-Have:
- Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Applicant must consent to a criminal background check.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Identification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
