Mint Cannabis is currently looking for an ambitious overnight packaging lead. You will have the opportunity to make an impact on how we operate day to day, and build a team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The packaging lead reports to the packaging manager, and will be responsible for our overnight crew. The overnight lead will be responsible for 6 team members ensuing the team is completing their goals for the day, working cohesively, and efficiently.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with management to ensure proper, compliant, and efficient product assembly and packaging
- Performs weighing, assembly, packaging, and labeling of products
- Provides maintenance of processing and assembly equipment, restocks all assembly and packaging supplies, and maintains a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
- Ensuring the team has director throughout their entire shift, while still assisting when needed in the process.
- Being able to communicate overnight challenges with morning crew, to ensure problems are resolved.
- Lead employees of 6 or more to complete their daily, weekly, and month goals.
QUALIFICATIONS: * Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age;
- Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Valid Arizona Identification
- High school diploma or equivalent. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
- Packaging, warehouse, inventory and leadership skills highly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: * Demonstrated ability to understand weights and measures in standard and metric systems.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize weighing, assembly, and packaging equipment.
- General knowledge of cannabis and related products.
- Excellent skills in basic mathematics.
- Leadership capabilities.
