What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility ROW Planner/Forrester position at Mint City Utility Services LLC?
Mint City Utility Services is in search of the right team members to help in our vegetation management program partnering with local utility providers.
Essential Functions:
- Understanding of tree species and growth rates
- Basic understanding of line clearance work/tree work fundamentals
- Stay organized and create maps outlining locations and quantity of work
- Obtain permissions and communicate with landowners
- Interact with public and represent self and company professionally
- Able to mark identified work
- Basic proficiency with general office computer software (Google/Microsoft suites)
- Ability to work independently at times and keep up with planning speed as needed
- Ability to think through complex work set up situations/problem solving
Minimum Requirements:
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass an MVR check
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to enter and exit vehicle continually throughout the day
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to walk long distances and navigate rough terrain
