What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Mint Construction?
Project Managers are responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of the work for assigned construction projects. May be assigned responsibility for one or more projects at a time. Maximizes project profitability and implements Mint's goals and values with clients. Works hard to create a positive working experience with all parties, including Subcontractors, Owners, Architects, City Officials, etc. Come help us continue to grow and build perfect spaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred
- Minimum of four or more years project management experience
- Has a valid driver's license
- Has an in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes
- Understands estimating concepts and is able to verify bids, understand market rates, and to process change orders.
- Understands contractual language and concepts and how to protect the company.
- Has a working knowledge of construction laws and practices
- Understands building codes and other design requirements.
- Reads and understands plans, blueprints and specifications
- Knows how to present a professional demeanor in dress and speech.
- Has strong negotiation skills
- Has strong problem solving skills
- Efficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
