Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Distribution, the Distrubution Center, Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgeted targets are met. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, work assignments, training, and disciplinary actions. The operation serves multiple clients in the retail sector.

This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who optimizes warehouse operations, improves efficiency, and drives continuous improvement.

Reports to: Director of Distribution

Location: Greer, South Carolina

Essential Functions:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, packing, and shipping.
  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Principles, Problem Solving, 5S Programs) to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Lead warehouse teams with strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Establish and refine standardized KPIs in alignment with service agreements.
  • Manage wholesale distribution with a background in EDI/ASN and familiarity with EDI platforms.
  • Ensure optimal use of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Oversee shipping logistics, including FTL/LTL and courier partners (USPS, FedEx, UPS), ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Create and manage daily pick waves within the WMS, balancing priorities and resource constraints.
  • Monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and processing speed.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and profitability.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 7 years of warehouse and distribution experience.
  • College diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience in distribution and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
  • Experience working in an RF (radio frequency) environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and detail oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
