THE ROLE
Mint House is seeking a meticulous Payroll Manager to own the payroll process across its corporate and property-based employees . The payroll manager will be directly responsible for the accounting, operations, communication, implementation, and administrative functions of the company's payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of processing payroll, updating and maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll issues, and reviewing payroll reports.

THE ROLE
Mint House is seeking a meticulous Payroll Manager to own the payroll process across its corporate and property-based employees . The payroll manager will be directly responsible for the accounting, operations, communication, implementation, and administrative functions of the company's payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of processing payroll, updating and maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll issues, and reviewing payroll reports.
AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL
- Support Mint House's vision for our payroll function to enhance automation and scalability while ensuring accurate, secured, and compliant payroll processing.
- Participate in implementing new or modified core pay related processes to meet long-term employee needs.
- Work closely with the People Ops team to ensure timely response to questions and requests that have been processed.
- Work with payroll provider to provide the People and Operation team with best practice and advice on all payroll-related matters.
- Process bi-weekly hourly and semi -monthly salaried employees in an efficient and timely manner.
- Record, maintain and update timekeeping processes and procedures for property and corporate operations.
- Learn the processes, technology, capabilities and develop working knowledge for end-to-end pay life cycle view, related employee experience and data analysis.
- Help with new market set up and ensure payroll in compliance with state specific laws and regulations.
- Support the processing of verification of employment.
- 3-5 years of payroll management experience - hospitality industry preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience with a payroll software and multi-state payroll environment.
- Have strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills and demonstrated ability of analyzing and presenting data.

- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid pace of improvement that's a natural part of an evolving team.
