Mint Innovation is a cleantech company focused on transforming electronic waste into valuable resources using innovative, low-impact biotechnology. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping us communicate our mission to the world, support our brand visibility, and contribute to content and campaign development.
This internship is ideal for a current undergraduate student passionate about sustainability, digital storytelling, and growing their marketing skillset. Success in this role looks like active participation in content creation, thoughtful engagement with target audiences, and a willingness to learn and collaborate across teams. This role sits within the U.S. marketing team and will work closely with leadership to support real campaigns with real-world impact.
Responsibilities
- Content Management:
- Organize and upload content to platforms such as our website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter (X). Coordinate with team members and partners to ensure all content aligns with our brand values and voice.
- Engagement Strategy Support:
- Assist in implementing strategies to boost brand awareness and community engagement. Monitor audience interactions and suggest improvements based on insights and trends.
- Market Research:
- Research current trends in sustainability, recycling, and digital marketing. Help create audience personas and market summaries to inform campaign direction.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with meeting scheduling, marketing material organization, and internal communications. Support CRM data entry and help keep marketing tools up to date.
- Collaboration & Learning:
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and participate in brainstorming sessions. Learn from experienced marketing professionals and gain exposure to real-world marketing strategy.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Interest in sustainability, environmental innovation, or cleantech is preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Access to a reliable laptop, stable internet, and a working cell phone
Experience with tools like Canva, HubSpot, Hootsuite, or Mailchimp is a plus, but not required.
