The Role:


Minted seeks a creative and analytical Social Media Coordinator to be a co-administrator of its social media communities on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, Twitter/X, TikTok and YouTube. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for co-creating, executing, managing, and moderating content feeds on branded social media channels. The Social Media Coordinator will also assist in data analysis and strategic initiatives to ensure continual optimization of social media channels, as well as monitoring and reporting on competitive industry trends.


This role is 80% focused on Community Management, Moderation, and Content Creation; and 20% Community Strategy & Analytics.

You Will:
  • Manage and publish relevant content and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, Twitter/X, TikTok and YouTube, in accordance with content calendar schedule
  • Maintain content calendars and creative asset management for Minted’s social media channels
  • Maintain an ‘always-on’ presence on Minted’s social media feeds to ensure we are responding to all customer commentary, concerns, questions, and requests, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience with the brand
  • Monitor Minted social media feeds for opportunities to interact with brand advocates and our community of artists, find examples of relevant content to share with our customers and followers, and collect optimal examples of UGC
  • Identify trends and translate into tangible opportunities for the brand to activate on owned social channels
  • Assist/lead copy creation for editorial calendars, contests, and other social-related campaigns
  • Partner with influencer and paid social teams to ensure content is being maximized 
  • Create and edit content via on and off-camera mobile-captured video (e.g., appearing in content on behalf of the brand, capturing in-office video of products and employees) and edit influencer and UGC video to meet strategic goals and maximize performance
  • Partner with social team members to conceptualize campaigns and content to be featured on the Minted social media channels
  • Utilize social analytics tools like Facebook/Instagram Insights, Looker, Dash Hudson, and TikTok to help generate insights for social listening and reporting
  • Collaborate with influencer and paid media teams to utilize data to show holistic performance of campaigns
  • Summarize analytics data to create actionable reports that lead to optimization of social channels


You Are:
  • Social media obsessed with a passion for identifying trends and pop culture happenings as opportunities for the brand
  • Excited for the opportunity to create content on behalf of the brand including but not limited to appearing on camera
  • Comfortable speaking with and presenting to senior leaders
  • Meticulous with high attention to detail
  • Extremely adept at verbal, written, and presentation skills 
  • Active, inquisitive, and someone with a creative spirit
  • Receptive to change.  You are flexible, adaptable, innovative, and open in response to competitive pressure and market change.
  • A collaborative thinker.  You enjoy an environment that has been structured for collaboration and interdependencies


You Have:
  • 1 to 2 years of previous experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
  • Undergraduate degree in design, communications, marketing advertising, public relations, media studies, business, and/or related fields.
  • Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as content creation, community development and management, commenting, etc., with a focus on interior design, fashion, art and popular culture
  • Exceptional understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
  • Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects
  • Proficiency in Photoshop with an understanding of the principles of Art Design
  • Proficiency in social media analytics – a basic understanding is a must

Compensation:


The compensation range for the role applies to both employment offers and Minted employees actively working in the role. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.


Geo Base Full Salary Range 0 - Includes SF Bay Area $62,760 - $94,140 (Midpoint $78,450)
