Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping Lead to join our team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive skills in shipping and receiving, fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory management, assembly, and packaging. This role requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to lead a team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders
- Manage the fulfillment process, ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and cycle counts
- Coordinate assembly and packaging activities to meet production schedules
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols
- Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals
- Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving, fulfillment, warehouse operations, inventory management, assembly, and packaging
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.19 - $30.76 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
