Job Description:
Minturn is seeking temporary construction laborers / painters for a bridge painting project located in Bettendorf, Iowa. The position includes:
- $31.32 hourly wage
- Temporary position that will end in July, 2025
- On-the-job and safety training
- Safety gear provided
- Average of 50 hours per week, mostly Monday through Friday between 6 am and 7 pm
- Some nighttime hours may be required
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and follow safety and construction procedures.
- Report promptly for work and maintain dependable transportation.
- Read, understand and build according to the plans and superintendent's instructions.
- Operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment.
- Work with other crew personnel in a safe, organized and enjoyable work environment.
- Apply good customer service and maintain a clean work site.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Past experience in construction.
- Capability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week.
- Ability to operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Valid drivers license.
- Class A or B commercial drivers license is a plus.
