Now hiring a CNC Saw Operator for a manufacturing company in Akron for 1st shift, 6am – 2:30pm.
Monday – Friday
Weekly pay at $16 per hour.
Overtime hours: 6am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and 6am – 11am Saturday.
The CNC Saw Operator is responsible for the operation of saw machinery, including set-up, measuring materials, and troubleshooting.
Job Duties:
- Operate CNC machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure cut accuracy.
- Inspect and measure materials to confirm accuracy and quality.
- Document all inspection results and submit accordingly.
- Notify a supervisor of any abnormalities.
- Monitor material usage to avoid shortages.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to read measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous CNC machinery experience.
