What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - 1st shift position at Minute Men Staffing?
A large pallets company in Southern Indiana is in need of an experienced Material Handler on 1st shift - 4:45 am to 4:00 pm. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position. The primary role of a Material Handler is to perform all material handling via forklift.
Key responsibilities include:
• Loading and unloading the heat treatment chamber
• Loading delivery trucks
• Keeping the yard clean and well-organized.
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:45 AM to approximately 4:00 PM
o This early start is needed to prep trucks and the yard before the production staff arrives
o Candidates can expect a guaranteed 30 minutes to 1 hour of overtime daily
o Some Friday deliveries may also occur and would include additional overtime
Additional Details:
• Steel-toe shoes are required from day one
