What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Minute Men Staffing?
Now hiring Material Handlers for manufacturing company in Hartville for 1st shift, 7am – 3pm.
Weekly pat at $14.50 per hour.
The Material Handler is responsible to safely handling, transporting, and storing materials within the facility.
Job Duties:
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials to designated locations.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by loading/unloading trucks in a timely manner.
- Utilize handheld scanners to maintain accurate inventory levels and to update package tracking systems.
- Transport materials to and from production areas as needed for replenishment.
- Perform regular cycle counts of materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct safety inspections on equipment prior to use to identify potential hazards.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Previous forklift experience is required.
