What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sit-down Forklift Operator/ Material Handler position at Minute Men Staffing?
A large aftermarket part installation company in the Eastend of Louisville is in need of an experienced Sit-down forklift operator/ material handler. This is a full-time temp to hire position on 1st shift; Monday - Thursday 5am to 3:30pm with the potential for overtime. Must have prior experience operating a 10K forklift and inventory experience. Must be willing and comfortable working outside; cab of forklift is climate controlled. Must have strong attention to detail as you will be maneuvering items in very tight locations. Must have reliable/ dependable transportation, with zero attendance issues during the probationary period. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without issue, ability to stay on task and work independently. Must have strong communication skills, must be able to stay on task and work independently.
