NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK
Minuteman High School has a full time English Language Arts Teaching position open for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.
Major Responsibilities:
• Implement English/Language Arts lessons and Project-Based Learning activities from curriculum specifically designed to coincide with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and Common Core State Standards.
• Manage classroom affairs, adjust to various audiences and learning preferences, and promote a growth mindset.
• Apply relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Attend staff, team, and IEP meetings and contribute to committees as required.
Function as a member and work collaboratively with English Department staff, Special Education staff, and other academic and vocational areas in order to integrate challenging technical concepts into
a dynamic curriculum.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of curriculum and lessons that integrate ELA concepts with Career and Technical (CTE) disciplines.
• Assist the administration in implementing District goals and policies related to the educational and operational needs of the District.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform any other related task or duty at the direction of the building Principal or his designee.
Salary : $64,558 - $119,380
