Customer Account Representative

Minuteman Press is a locally owned and operated print shop that specializes in high-quality print products and exceptional customer service. We take pride in providing our clients with tailored solutions for all their print and promotional product needs. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in fostering relationships with local businesses and ensuring an exceptional experience throughout the entire print process.

Job Summary:
As a Customer Account Manager at Minuteman Press, you will be the main point of contact for our clients, overseeing everything from initial inquiries and quotes to final delivery. You will work directly with businesses of all sizes to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure high-quality finished products. Your goal will be to build lasting relationships with customers while also identifying opportunities to upsell additional print and promotional products. Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and clients. Serve as their primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Quoting & Estimating: Accurately quote print and promotional products, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensuring profitability for the shop.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on finished jobs, ensuring all products meet the highest standards before delivery to the client.
• Job Follow-up: Communicate with clients about the status of their jobs, ensuring they are satisfied with the product and service.
• Lead Management: Manage incoming leads and proactively follow up with potential clients to convert them into long-term customers.
• Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional print and promotional products to both new and existing clients, expanding their needs and your sales opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure timely and accurate job completion.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the Print Industry: At least 2 years of experience in a print shop environment, with knowledge of both printing processes and promotional products. Knowledge of the Custom Apparel Industry is a Strong Plus.
• Quotation Experience: Proven ability to accurately quote print and promotional products, including understanding cost structures and product requirements.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients at all levels and explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
• Customer-Centric Attitude: A genuine passion for customer service, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, especially when managing jobs and conducting quality checks.
• Design Experience (Preferred but not Required): Familiarity with design principles or experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
