What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Print Production Graphic Designer position at Minuteman Press?
Minuteman Press is looking to add a Full Time Print Production Graphic Designer to our team. We work hard, value teamwork and providing great service to our customers.
Every day brings an interesting variety of customer print jobs, and you will be working hands-on with the latest digital printing technology to deliver those jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer digital files for print (layout, bleeds, crop marks, etc.)
- Proof and correct potential output problems and quickly problem solve to produce high quality finished product.
- Setup print jobs using digital equipment such as Xerox and Fiery Command Workstation
- Assist with finishing work for print jobs (i.e. cutting, binding, collating, folding)
- Package and deliver high quality finished customer products
- Collaborate closely with customers and team members
Required skills:
- Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong graphic design skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Time management and organizational skills.
Previous printing, data merging, and bindery experience are a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
