We are seeking a talented and skilled Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team! As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in creating impactful designs and ensuring the highest quality of production for a variety of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Time Management: Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with attention to detail.
· File Management: Organize and manage electronic files, adhering to proper naming conventions, saving, and archiving protocols.
· Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent use of brand standards, including fonts, logos, and colors, throughout all design work.
· Production Setup: Review work orders, determine proper setup, and ensure smooth operation of high-speed digital printers and production equipment.
· Customer Interaction: Assist walk-in customers and respond to telephone/email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
· Creative Problem-Solving: Be proactive with a “go-getter” mentality to tackle design challenges and meet client needs.
· Digital Press Operation: Operate and troubleshoot various digital presses, including flatbed, roll presses, and digital copiers.
· Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and minor repairs on printers and equipment, ensuring the team has the necessary supplies.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy rolls of vinyl, substrates, and paper. Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
· Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Education: Associate’s degree in Graphic Design (or related field).
· Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design; Digital Production experience is a plus.
· Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) on the PC platform. Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook required.
· Technical Knowledge: Will be trained in RIP software ONYX and Fiery.
· Portfolio: A portfolio of your work showcasing your design abilities.
