Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with digital printing equipment, including digital presses, large format printers, and finishing equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring that production deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital printing presses, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
- Set up and calibrate printing machines for different print jobs.
- Monitor the print process and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth production.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment.
- Work with the production team to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure print jobs are set up correctly.
- Perform quality checks on print jobs to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist with finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging.
- Maintain inventory of print supplies and materials.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Experience in digital printing or print production.
- Knowledge of digital printing equipment (Xerox, HP, Canon, etc.) and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or related education preferred).
