Job Overview Summary
The Service Technician III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. This technician operates with minimal supervision and is skilled in addressing advanced technical issues, often serving as a resource for junior technicians.
What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
- Install, program, and configure advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, providing timely resolutions to technical issues.
- Conduct regular system inspections, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Document all service activities, including installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing procedures.
- Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of security equipment and systems.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new security projects.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What we Like about you:
- A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
- High school diploma or GED; additional technical certifications are preferred.
- 5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for both customer interactions and collaboration with team members.
Physical Activities/Demands:
- Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
