Now hiring an EDM Machinist Level I for a manufacturing company in Mentor.
Weekly pay at $18 per hour.
The EDM Machinist Level I will work under the supervision of an experienced EDM Machinist Trainer and will learn to identify and operate EDM machinery.
Job Duties:
- Follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Load parts to into the fixture.
- Use a feeler gage to confirm parts properly loaded and set in fixture.
- Enter the appropriate program number to machine part.
- Use gages to record dimensional data on appropriate forms.
- Follow quality documentation procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year previous factory experience.
- Familiarity with AS9100 documentation.
- Ability to perform basic math and geometric functions.
This position involves lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
