Location : US - Chicago

THE OPPORTUNITY

Revenue Operations sits at the heart of the commercial organization, aligning systems, departments, and processes while delivering best-in-class analytics and insights. This team is focused on increasing growth and efficiency via data driven decisioning, systems alignment and innovation, increased commercial productivity and end to end process and connectivity.

These goals will be achieved through actionable dashboards, visualizations, reports and insights, predictive analytics for forecasting, advanced utilization of systems, increased automation, process innovation and education, all underpinned by a unified strategy across the commercial organization and beyond.

This role will be integral to the expansion of the analytical function and will be responsible for helping to implement commercial data, analytics and reporting strategy across MiQ.

This role requires an individual with strong experience with data visualization tools, advanced excel, data management, data flows and SQL coding. A problem solver with a growth mindset is required and a working knowledge of Enterprise level CRM, ERP, Data visualization and AI tools is preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Working on a range of revenue focused projects including automation and streamlining of forecasting process, pipeline analysis, revenue intelligence, goal setting and tracking, insights and reporting.

Key areas of focus :

  • Commercial Dashboarding, Reporting and insights
  • Pipeline and Sales Cycle Reporting and Analysis
  • Data driven forecasting of revenue and gross profit (through statistical models)
  • Data quality, accuracy & systems alignment
  • Support Data and Analytics Manager & broader Rev Ops team on key projects
  • Ad Hoc commercial data / analytics / insights requests

In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following :

  • Delivery
  • Create repeatable revenue and profit analysis, insight and recommendations.
  • Creation of Dashboards, visualizations and custom reports
  • Enrich commercial intelligence via the addition of data sets / metrics e.g. commercial deals, retention and churn, quotas, activity tracking
  • Automate the quarterly & monthly forecasting process.
  • Own, maintain and report on Seller Quotas, Pipeline forecast reports, win rates, retention, Regional Forecasting, Commercial deals.
  • Create technical documentation
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting / insight / analysis for Commercial Departments / Leadership
  • Accomplishing tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities.
  • Project Management
  • Drive on time completion of key projects and manage stakeholders and management.
  • Identify business requirements and work with stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Drive adoption of new dashboards, processes, or systems.
  • Staying focused and contributing to projects. Organizing stakeholders and multiple milestones
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Navigate established relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and updation on key projects.
  • Work closely with Revenue Operations, Commercial teams (Sales, Client Success, Trading), Product, Marketing and Finance.
  • Work with Global BI and FP&A teams to ensure data quality of projects / workstreams
  • Working with internal stakeholders, building relationships and working across differences to find solutions
  • Communication
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders throughout the project to gather inputs, keep them updated, and coordinate.
  • Deliver training to key users across multiple departments
  • Regularly seek feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate and present insights and analytics that are actionable and scalable
  • Strong ability to document any / all established work
  • Crisp and clear communication to external partners / clients or internal stakeholders; flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes

  • Use world-class visualisation tools to deliver analytics that aid forecasting and predictive modelling.
  • Always look to automate existing processes and workflows.

  • YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Passionate about data, analytics and technology
  • Ability to translate non-technical needs into technical specifications
  • Good communicator
  • Can demonstrate having used data to drive action
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, (including pivot tables, look ups,VBA Marcos, and other formulas etc.)
  • Advanced data visualisation experience in a BI visualisation tool (Experience in developing Dashboards, Excel models, PowerPoint, Slack and other real-time notifications)
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Advanced user of enterprise level CRM and / or ERP platforms preferred

  • Experience working with AI platforms preferred
  • Experience with data modeling and data architecture design.
  • Knowledge of data governance, including data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud-based data storage (e.g., S3, Google Cloud Storage)
  • Ability to build and maintain reliable data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Holds an understanding of machine learning algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
  • Experience working in Sales or Revenue Operations preferred

    For individuals assigned and / or hired to work in Chicago, IL, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $90,000-$125,000. This range may vary for positions outside of Chicago as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
