We operate two state-of-the-art facilities located in Cumberland and Hagerstown, and we’re looking for a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice at both locations.
Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our front office and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work at both our Cumberland and Hagerstown offices as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.
- Verify patient information and process medical records.
- Check patients in and out of appointments, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
- Maintain and update patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Handle billing and insurance information, including verification and processing.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the front desk area is organized and well-stocked.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the office.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or front desk role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in office software and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Ability to travel between our Cumberland and Hagerstown locations as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
