We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established outpatient Neurology clinic in Cumberland. Position Overview:
We are looking to expand our team by adding a full-time Nurse Practitioner to support our group of 4 Providers. The role involves the comprehensive management of outpatient neurology services, including, but not limited to:
- Conducting follow-up appointments for stable neurology patients.
- Managing urgent add-on appointments as needed.
- Refilling prescriptions and managing necessary paperwork.
Our outpatient services cover a broad spectrum of neurological conditions such as migraines, dementia, stroke, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological disorders. The role also involves assisting with procedures, including EMGs, EEGs, and Botox treatments. The position offers a supportive and efficient environment with a highly collaborative team of physicians, nurses, and medical staff.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- No weekend shifts
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner educational program approved by the State Board of Nursing or equivalent to Maryland standards.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it before providing direct patient care.
- DEA and CDS eligibility.
