JOB SUMMARY: The front desk staff position requires a person that can be a welcoming presence to our patients but also a multitasker that can ensure the patients get efficient & an enjoyable experience at Miracle Ear N Dartmouth. This position is responsible for checking all patients in and out and collection of payment, posting payments in our computer system, and making sure all charts are ready for the day. This person will also verify insurance eligibility and address information, answer phones, schedule patients, and book appointments. Are you ready to join our growing team?
Responsibilities
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Schedule and plan appointments
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with patients and colleagues
- Perform receptionist duties
Skills
- Experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role preferred not required )
- Working knowledge of office equipment Including phone, fax ect.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
